This amp is awesome if you have some old computer headset that you have not used in a long time because you now ply on the Xbox, you can bring it back to life with this. The problem I had is I don’t have a really good pair of head sets to try it out with all I have is a cheap pair and it made them sound awesome.
I have been playing with this now for a few weeks and it’s really cool and I found a use for it that they really don’t talk about, I plug it into the tv auto out and mute the tv and use the amp’s controls and I can watch tv without waking up my wife so you can go from playing games to watching tv with this.
It really gives you a better gaming experience you can hear everything so much better like the buys walking in the grass on COD and the explosions are more to life-like it must really be heard to be believed. It comes in two versions standard and HDMI. For more info and where to buy go to www.xjacker.com .
“XJacKer.com, creator of several XJacKer Kits, announces the full availability of their Soniq Rush Gaming Headset Amp Kit for console and PC gamers. Designed for Xbox™ 360 gamers on a tight budget, the Soniq Rush Gaming Headset Amp Kit enables any standard PC headset (with 3.5mm plugs) to function as a premium amplified Xbox™ 360 gaming headset. Available in both standard (RCA) and HDMI-compatible versions, the Soniq Rush Gaming Headset Amp Kit is capable of amplifying gamers’ own custom mix of game sounds and Xbox LIVE chat.
The Soniq Rush Gaming Headset Amp itself is a small, USB-powered stereo audio amplifier capable of 26dBs of amplification to drive even high-impedance headsets. Featuring full dynamic range (20Hz~50kHz), excellent bass response, low distortion (0.2% THD), and 0.4W RMS per channel, the Soniq Rush Gaming Headset Amp amplifies game sounds, voice chat, and in-game music with clarity and fidelity. “I tested this tender little nugget on every set of headphoes I could find, on as many sources as possible, and it delivered” confirms Rick Bassett of Voodoo Extreme.
“I spent a lot of time with the Soniq Rush over the last week and a half, and tried it with a variety of games (Halo: Reach, Black Ops, Madden, and Hunted). With each one, I experienced a significant audio boost versus the headset by itself. The Soniq Rush succeeded in amplifying the sounds of everything around me, whether it was footsteps, bullets whizzing by, or the sound an axe makes when it cuts something in half (kind of a loud sqwich sound)” writes Jason Iatomasi for The Adrenaline Vault.
Featuring standard 3.5mm jacks and plugs, the Soniq Rush Gaming Headset Amp is also compatible with PCs, laptops, PS3s, and Wiis. Christophor Rick of Gamers Daily News called it “just about perfect for what it is, and low-cost to boot! Take one set of standard headphones, this little do-hickey and you end up with a complete solution for sound on all of your consoles.”
